Structural Engineer

Structural Engineerrequired for my client is very reputable Structural Engineering Consultancy who work on a number of projects within the Structural Engineering industry. They have been operating for over 40 years and completed a huge range of projects across a range of sectors. including, Leisure, Civil Engineering, Commercial, Education Historic, Residential, Public and Science & Healthcare.

The ideal Structural Engineer must have at least 4 years post qualification experience within a Structural Design Consultancy, and be Degree Qualified within Civil / Structural Engineering or similar.

Structural Engineer Position Overview

• The role will involve mentoring less experienced members of the team
• Work on a number of projects and clients at any one time
• Support our Principal engineers and Directors across the group
• Quality deliverables and client satisfaction are at the forefront of our everyday responsibilities
• Conformance to our accredited processes and procedures as recognised within the industry
• Implementing fundamental knowledge and understanding of structural engineering design and the application and principles
• Working on innovative and sustainable engineering projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial
• Using AutoCAD, Masterseries and TEDDS as well as STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit
• Report writing
• Site visits

Structural Engineer Position Requirements

• 4 years' + experience within a Structural Design Consultancy (Building)
• Degree Qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering or similar , IStructE or ICE accredited
• Experience on the Design of Buildings is a must
• Be based within the Oxford area
• Working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE
• Experience of producing detailed structural calculations and sketches
• Preparation of construction drawings and specifications
• Commercial awareness of costing, budgets and quotations
• Report writing
• Site visits to verify construction complies with construction drawings

• Salary Depending On Experience
• 5 hours/week, Monday - Friday
