Are you passionate about making a positive impact on families in South Wales? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to lead our Family Support Team within a local authority setting. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of families in our community.

Role Overview: As the Family Support Team Manager, you will oversee a team of dedicated social workers and support staff. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the Family Support Team to deliver high-quality services to families in need.
• Providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring effective casework and professional development.
• Developing and implementing strategies for early intervention and prevention within the community.
• Collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders to coordinate support services for families.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Key Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Care Wales.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a social work team, ideally within a family support context.
• Strong knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families and professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively and drive continuous improvement.
