Reed scientific are working with a growing life science company based in the Haverhill area who have an immediate vacancy within their Microbiology team. They are looking for someone with a strong Microbiology background who is able to help drive the team forward whilst working on multiple projects.

Duties of the role include:

• Preparing high quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Analysing samples whilst adhering to controlled methods and procedures
• Developing in-house protocols in line with ISO standards
• Troubleshooting where required

Essential skills & experience:

• A Life Science related PhD, with a focus on Microbiology
• Good aseptic techniques (essential) and cell culture (desirable)
• Experience working in level 2 containment laboratory
• Knowledge of ISO standards
