LEAD DATA ENGINEER

REMOTE FIRST - 1x PER MONTH IN CARDIFF OFFICE

UP TO £65,000 + BENEFITS

Are you an expert at using PowerBI and the Azure stack? Do you have an excellent understanding of data architecture? This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with fintech company and develop your data architecture skills.

THE COMPANY

This company is a multi-award-winning fintech company with a great culture that has seen steady growth and is looking to re-architect their data in PowerBI. To do this, they are bringing in a lead data engineer who will spearhead their data architecture.

THE ROLE

  • Deliver a flexible data architecture solution.
  • Act as an individual contributor with great freedom.
  • Work on data pipelines.
  • End-to-end BI reporting.
  • Create temp tables and do thought analysis.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • FinTech experience is preferable.
  • Advanced knowledge and commercial experience using Azure tech stack, Python, SQL and PowerBI.
  • Experience with Dax is preferable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience developing data architecture in PowerBI.
