Purchasing Supervisor - Temp to Perm

Your new company
Our client is a leader in the private healthcare sector, and they are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. In this role you will be influential in coordinating all the purchasing and payment processes for everything needed in order to run a healthcare site.

Your new role In this Purchasing Supervisor role, you will engage with your business users to ensure purchase orders run as smoothly as possible. You will be the subject-matter expert for the ERP P2P system and provide training on its usage if needed. You will be ensuring that the business and purchasing teams adhere to policies and procedures and flag any non-compliance to the Head of Purchasing & Supply Chain. Where there are issues with certain suppliers, you will be the interface and escalation point in order to resolve these in a timely manner.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be able to work under pressure and be a problem solver at heart. You will enjoy engaging with people and educating them on the purchasing process. You will have prior experience of purchasing medical/ clinical/ physical goods, and you will be able to go on-site 3 days per week in West London. This role is initially 3 months in length, but can then go permanent for the right candidate.
