We have an incredible, newly created, Payroll Assistant opportunity with a modern, fun, and growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Huddersfield.
Well-established, this firm can offer a range of support to their varying client base, ensuring all clients are cared for. You will have the opportunity to join an exciting firm that is keen to support you throughout your career.

About the role:

  • Processing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payrolls accurately and efficiently
  • Calculating taxes, national insurance contributions, and pension deductions
  • Processing Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC (processing holiday pay, sick pay, and other employee benefits)
  • Handling payroll queries and resolving issues.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in payroll legislation and making necessary adjustments


About you:

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience working within a payroll position.
  • Feel confident working on your own initiative whilst being able to work as part of a wider team.

  • Salary from £24,000 to £30,000
