Dynamite Recruitment are honoured to be working with an ambitious and successful construction and building management business who’s vision is to provide a solution to their customers maintaining and retrofitting homes. Their client base is predominantly with local authorities and social housing. They are partnered with their clients to promote energy efficiencies, provide repairs and maintenance services and build long term client relationships.
My client is seeking an Operations Manager to look after the South West Region and this is an exciting time to join due to a large contract going live very shortly which is a 20 year contract offering full asset management across all maintenance and repair works. This contract has got a lot of opportunity to grow it further.
You must have a good understanding of construction methods in refurbishment to be solely responsible for all projects within your region.
A customer facing role that focuses on delivery, proactive teams and promoting health and safety and good practice at all times.

The role of an Operations Manager:
  • To lead and manage a regional team to ensure agreed objectives are met and ensure clients are happy and maintained
  • Working closely with internal teams, local supply chain partners and sub-contractors to help achieve long term support for their clients
  • To be an escalated point of contact for customers to make sure clients are satisfied and long term relationships are strong to ensure repeat business
  • To make sure company procedures are followed, compliance is met, and delivering on time and to budget maintaining quality
  • Manage health and safety for your team promoting good practice at all times
  • Establish and set project objectives to the site teams
  • Closely monitor the projects programme
  • Ensure all projects are managed and communicated effectively to all parties involved and the flow of information is updated at all times
  • To manage sub-contractor labour where required
  • To manage junior team members, setting expectations and guidelines in line with the companies expectations
  • Identify improvements and present solutions to benefit the business and customers
  • Hold team meetings where required to ensure all of the team are on track with progress
  • To be responsible for the project as a whole to ensure successful client delivery
