Marketing and Communications Executive
Due to growth, a new development opportunity has been created for an entrepreneurial, creative and results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time while achieving business goals. Your originality and ability to create and deliver compelling and engaging communications and brand advocacy will be critical to your success.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Marketing and Communications Executive will design, develop and manage inspiring external and internal marketing and communication campaigns that inform, educate and engage the external marketplace and all internal employees.
Working collaboratively with the business, you will act as the custodian and champion for the Cobal brand utilising modern communication channels that engage colleagues and customers and build awareness of Company activities and business successes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, develop and implement the marketing plan that defines Cobal in the marketplace as a market leader in all aspects of our business.
- Manage and execute marketing activity and campaigns across various platforms and touch points.
- Create compelling content that promotes business successes for online and offline channels (i.e. case studies, news stories, social media feed, sales proposal content/proposals, new sales collateral, samples/promotional items, CPDs, website development, product marking, press releases, award management, product launches).
- Establish appropriate metrics and design tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and develop future strategies.
- Write captivating stories by creating content for platforms and sales collateral.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with the team, clients, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Engage with providers of accreditations to maintain marketing messages and take part in all appropriate promotional activities.
- Create and nurture presence in the market and community by delivering CPDs, capturing the voice of customers, and seeking and participating in networking opportunities.
- Monitor and assess market opportunities across target industries/sectors.
About You
- Proven marketing experience with a focus on strategy and direct execution
- Competent in creating and implementing inspiring marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with marketing tools and software e.g. Adobe Creative Suite
- The ability to author editorials and marketing collateral
- Proof reading ability and excellent attention to detail
- Naturally independent and collaborative working style
- Capability to maintain and evolve our online presence - such as social media and website
Required skills
- Content creation
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Minimum 2 years marketing experience
- Proficient Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Creative Suite
- Proof reading & meticulous attention to detail
