Manual Machinist

Adept Resourcing are excited to be working with a well-established precision engineering company based in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Manual Miller to join their team.

As part of a busy and growing manufacturing environment, your role will entail operating manual milling machines with tailor-made work.

You'll report to the Team Leader and handle these responsibilities on a day-to-day basis.

SHIFTS - 2 or 3 shifts patterns are available, option of mornings and afters, afters and nights or rotating 3 shifts.

SALARY - Ranging depending on shifts - £28,000 - £30,000

Responsibilities:

• Configuring machines to match engineering drawing specifications
• Maintaining high-quality standards for produced parts
• Ensuring production targets are met
• Implementing 5S principles
• Documenting and communicating any problems or concerns
• Safely operating and managing manual milling machines

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Manual Milling Machinist
• Understanding of engineering drawings
• Working to tight tolerances
• Ensure that all duties are carried out meeting health and safety guidelines
