Maintenance Technician - Leyton

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Leyton

Hours: Flexible - Day shift could be Full Time or Part Time

Hourly Rate: £15 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical works, including investigating and resolving issues, managing lighting and power outputs, and performing new installations and cable runs.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks, such as investigating and resolving issues and executing new installations.
• Undertake light building works, including carpentry, painting, and decorating.
• Maintain external areas through gardening activities.
• Execute planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Perform mechanical repairs on powered trucks, including changing wheels, bearings, and gas struts.

Requirements:

• Ideally Holds the 18th Edition certificate and other relevant electrical qualifications.
• Can Demonstrate experience in maintenance within a warehouse environment.
• Possesses a valid UK Driving License.
• Has at least 5 years of experience in general maintenance.
• Exhibits self-motivation and effective communication skills with managers, customers, and colleagues.
• Demonstrates a problem-solving attitude.
• Familiarity with relevant Health & Safety Legislation is preferred.
