Litigation Paralegal - Swansea
TSR Legal are proud to be working with a Swansea-based law firm who now have a new opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. The role promises exposure to a diverse caseload, enabling the successful candidate to hone their expertise within a supportive and professional environment.

Role:
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be instrumental in supporting solicitors with a varied civil litigation caseload. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting documents, liaising with clients, and maintaining case files. You will also assist with the preparation of court bundles and case management, ensuring all proceedings run smoothly.
This position offers the chance to delve into a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, providing an enriching environment for professional growth and expertise development.
As a pivotal member of a dedicated legal team, the successful candidate will manage a robust portfolio of housing-related cases. This includes addressing housing disrepair, tenancy enforcement, and antisocial behaviour claims, all while serving the interests of social landlords. The role extends to navigating complex procurement and financing issues, ensuring a comprehensive experience in housing law.
Moreover, this role is not limited to housing matters alone. It encompasses a spectrum of legal disputes, including contract disagreements. Furthermore, the successful candidate will receive specialised training in shareholder disputes, broadening their litigation skill set across a variety of sectors.
Ideal candidates will possess a solid foundation in litigation, with a keen interest or experience in housing law. The ability to handle a substantial caseload with precision and a commitment to client service excellence is paramount. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team are essential.

Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a paralegal, preferably within litigation
- Law degree or equivalent legal qualification

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management systems
