Meraki Talent is partnered with a well-known engineering institution based in Grantham to appoint a Librarian permanently. This is a part-time opportunity (4 days per week) and offers hybrid working where the successful candidate will only be required to be on-site 2 days per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the library catalogue database
- Archiving materials and incorporating additional materials
- Providing support to members and the general public with any inquiries
- Adding metadata to the online library and managing the digitisation process
The successful candidate must have:
- At least one year of experience working within a higher education or engineering library environment
- An excellent telephone manner with good communication skills and good customer service
- Methodical with exceptional organisational skills
