To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, the successful candidate must have proven experience of working for a professional law firm in a Legal Cashiering position. It is essential that you have strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong IT skills are imperative, including the use of Microsoft packages.

As part of a busy Cashiering Team, the successful Legal Cashier will be responsible for:

  • Daily bank reconciliations of both office and client account
  • Processing BACS and CHAPS payment
  • Undertaking client completions on a daily basis
  • Processing payments received into client account
  • Preparation of cheques
  • Taking cheques to the bank
  • Client to office transfers
  • Posting of client invoices
  • Posting debit/credit card payments
  • Archiving of files
  • Dealing with general enquiries
