Overview:
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager who can contribute to the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of information technology projects within AVEVA. 
This position serves as a bridge between project stakeholders, team members, and senior project management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 

The Associate IT Project Manager assists in driving project success by coordinating resources, managing tasks, and facilitating communication among project teams.  

Duties:

  • Assist with the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets 
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders 
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and communication among team members 
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies 
  • Collaborate with development and technical teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and properly implemented 
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time
  • Work with stakeholders to define project scope and ensure that project goals align with organisational objectives

Desired skills:

  • Developing knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage small projects
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and emerging leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and some experience of project management tools / techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Technical knowledge:

  • Aspiring to lead and motivate others; demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types 
  • Basic knowledge of project-planning tools 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Entry requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/1 x A Level in any subject/BTEC etc.)?
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically 2 years in a relevant role)?
    PLUS?
  • 5 x GCSE’s including English & Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above?.

90% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship.
