The Business

Axon Moore are currently partnered with a leading international manufacturing business in sourcing a high calibre, ambitious Head of Finance. Our client have overseen double digit growth year on year leading to significant expansion both in the UK and internationally. With a particular focus on sustainability and innovation, our client are showing so signs of slowing down.

The Role

As Head of Finance you will be working closely with the CFO and CEO in developing a fit for purpose finance function in line with business growth. You will be a true business partner to the senior leadership team whilst managing and developing a team of 10 individuals. Alongside, due to a strong international presence you will have oversight of foreign exchange and tax.

- Managing and developing a team of 10
- Creation of the monthly board pack
- Oversight of Tax, VAT and annual audit process
- Supporting continued M&A activity including integration of newly acquired businesses
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Partnering with the CFO, CEO and operations to drive efficiency's 
- Developing the financial controls and processes during continued growth 

The Individual 

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong technical skills
- Able to manage senior relationships effectively 
- Comfortable influencing decision makers and recommending improvements
- Experience within a fast growing business
- Although not essential, experience of working in an international business is desirable
