Our client has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join the team.

Location: Southampton

Salary: £120 - 140K basic + Competitive Package

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

About The Company:

With over 100 years of British manufacturing experience, our client is a leading organisation within the capital equipment space. They provide a range of products including heaters, ventilators and air conditioning units, that are both off-the-shelf and bespoke products for their clients across multiple sectors.

With ambitious plans for the future, they are looking to triple the size of business over the next 5 years to a £60M turnover and as such, need a strong General Manager who can lead the business from an operational perspective, working closely with the commercial functions, to achieve this growth.

General Manager - The Role:

This is an exciting new role and will be responsible for the day to day operations of the business. It will ensure that the organisation has the right systems and processes in place, lead change and transformation projects across their manufacturing operations and ensure that all functions of the business are working collaboratively to achieve success.

General Manager - Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct a deep dive into the business, reviewing their current business operations and drive improvements and growth across all functions

- Manage the operational P&L for the business, including being responsible for all CAPEX/OPEX budgets

- Develop and implement a culture of continuous improvement across all facets of the business

- Manage and motivate a strong SMT, ensuring everyone is aligned in their goals to drive growth and overall business productivity

General Manager - You:

- You will have experience working within an engineering or manufacturing organisation

- Prior experience of managing a £20-40M P&L

-Strong track record of driving change within an organisation and bringing teams on a journey with you

-Min. 10 + years in a leadership position

-Experience in business transformation and driving growth
