We are looking to recruit a Factory Labourer to work within a manufacturing facility in Birtley.

The role involves:

  • Supporting the manufacturing team with the preparation of materials
  • Measuring out materials in preparation for manufacturing
  • Use of Manual Handling Equipment for the movement of raw materials (manually and with the use of FLT)
  • Following specific instructions for different types of products
  • Working to daily targets

This does require manually lifting so applicants must be physically fit. There will also be a requirement to use a Fork Lift Truck, training will be provided.

Hours of work would be 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 3.15pm Friday.

This is a permanent position with a Salary of £28,292.36 this includes all shift allowances.

Essential Attributes:

  • Good numerical skills as you will be working with numbers for measurements
  • Physically fit

Desired Experience:

  • Previous use of a fork lift truck or a ForkLift license is highly advantageous
