Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and Test: Build, test, and repair small electromechanical sub-assemblies and full systems, ensuring all specifications and quality standards are met.
- Precision Work: Utilise your fault-finding skills to troubleshoot down to the component level with a meticulous approach to detail.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, following engineering drawings, models, and schematics to configure product assemblies for specific customer orders.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies and promote good housekeeping practices to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar industry with hands-on experience in electronic engineering and mechanical assembly.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with electronic components and their in-circuit functionality, soldering experience, and the ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
- Dexterity: Good hand-to-eye coordination and manual dexterity are essential.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business and to follow instructions precisely.
- Additional Skills: Competent computer literacy, and ideally, formal qualifications in electronics or engineering.
