Conveyancing Paralegal
This full-time role is based in their Taunton office, offering the chance to be part of a professional and friendly environment.
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in managing a busy workload, utilising your ability to work well under pressure and exercise initiative.
Conveyancing Paralegal Responsibilities:- Assisting in the progression of conveyancing transactions, including exchanging contracts, dealing with completions, preparing contracts, transfers, trust deeds, and correspondence
- Handling completion statements, raising solicitors' invoices, and drafting contracts
- Taking instructions from and liaising with clients
- Undertaking online searches and completing Land Registry and SDLT forms online
- Providing secretarial assistance to residential conveyancing lawyers, both on-site and remotely as required
- Participating in reception and post/DX cover rotas
- Producing documents using the firm's case management software
- Demonstrating excellent administrative and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Exhibiting effective written and verbal communication abilities
- You will ideally have a law degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal
- Ability to manage a demanding workload and work under pressure
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
