FINANCE OFFICER

UP TO £44,000 - DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

SOUTH WEST LONDON

PART TIME TEMP ROLE – 10-3PM, MON-THURS

I am partnering with a successful client in the construction industry to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper, on a temporary basis to take responsibility for their accounting duties. You must have strong experience in VAT and CIS returns and can confidently use SAGE Cloud Accounting and Excel. This is an office-based role, and you must be available to start next week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create weekly bank balances schedule.
  • Post invoices and bank transactions in Sage Cloud Accounting for multi entities.
  • Complete VAT return on SAGE and submit to HMRC.
  • CIS returns for multi entities
  • Post intercompany transactions for each entity and ensure intercompany accounts reconcile. Compile balances and supporting schedules from Sage.
  • Ensure bank balances in Sage reconcile with the bank statement figures.
  • Check emails and ensure any invoices requesting payment are sent for approval following internal process.
  • Send weekly list of payments plus attachments to internal team member so payments can be processed.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in all Bookkeeping duties – specifically VAT/CIS returns.
  • Confident using SAGE Cloud Accounting and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team player
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
