My client is looking for an AWS DevOps engineer to come on board for an initial 6 months contract.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS and GCP infrastructure, with a focus on migrating fully to AWS.
  • Define service metrics, implement monitoring tools, and mentor software teams for seamless deployment.
  • Handle troubleshooting, incident management, and occasional out-of-hours support.
  • Identify and implement infrastructure optimization and define deployment processes.

Experience with:
  • Agile development, IP Networking, DNS, CDN, Load Balancing, and firewall configuration.
  • AWS/GCP infrastructure, Terraform, Kubernetes architecture, Linux, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Config and secrets ma
  • Hands-on SaaS application experience.nagement, security accreditation (e.g., ISO27001, SOC compliance).

Tech Stack:
  • Linux OS, Python, PHP, Shell Script.
  • Managed Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, Kinesis.
  • Databases: Postgres, Redis.
  • Open-source apps: Apache Airflow, Key Cloak, CraftCMS.
  • Development Frameworks: Django, Tailwind CSS/UI.

This role will require you to be onsite 2-3 in Bristol so please only apply if you are willing to do this!

This is an initial 6 month contract with a view to continue, the contract is outside IR35 and paying £500 a day.
