With multiple warehouse sites located within close proximity, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations across their WItton site . Job Description: As a Warehouse Manager for our multi-site operation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running of our warehouse. This role demands strong leadership skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities General Operations: - Manage the overall functioning of the warehouses, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics. Purchasing and Costing:- Responsible for procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Cost Efficiency: Identify opportunities to optimize costs across operations without compromising quality or service. Staff Training and Development:- Train, mentor, and develop warehouse operatives to ensure a high level of productivity and adherence to safety protocols. Quality Control:- Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold product standards and customer satisfaction. Health and Safety Compliance:- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among staff. Performance Monitoring:- Implement KPIs and metrics to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement. Problem-Solving:- Address operational challenges promptly and effectively, demonstrating the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Continuous Improvement:- Lead initiatives to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive operational excellence.
