Our leading client is recruiting for a Technical Architect to work on a 12 month FTC, hybrid model ( WFH / Liverpool office) The Technical Solutions Architect will be responsible for assessing the impact of integrating and deploying new technologies into architecture, developing statements of architecture work, defining solution and technical design documents with handover to BAU engineering teams for build. Responsibilities Producing Statements of Architecture Work outlining deliverables to the business/project management teamsProducing high-level solution design documents for review by architecture boardsProducing low-level detailed technical design documents to be translated into implementation work packages by either the architect or BAU engineering and operational teams.Participate in the technology direction for the organisation.Solution development and control.Infrastructure and Cloud (Azure / AWS) design and governanceCreate solutions prototypes, and designs for new technologiesControl solution development and development of roadmapsOwnership of the governance model and standards for the deployment of new technologiesEngage and work with other technology teams within the business to develop solutions for future software and hardware solutions.Work closely with the IT Architecture Manager to develop technology and project roadmapsKeep up to date with new and emerging technologies such as Cloud services and AutomationDefine standards for operational systems maintenance and system deployments Skills / Experience End user technologies and controls such as MDM, VDI and security.Able to effectively manage a technical workload, both project and BAU.Experience of producing high and low-level technical design documentationRequirement gathering & translation to solutions.Backup management and planning.Office365 and other cloud services.Datacentre in the cloud.Multi-vendor environment.Multi hosted DC environment.High availability & DR.Design documentation.

Technical Architect My client is a consultancy in the public sector and are looking for an experienced Technical Architect responsible for designing and building satellite-specific technical architecture for a significant public sector procurement. Responsibilities: Interpret complex processes and produce high-quality analysis and insights.Interface effectively between senior users and requirements engineers.Interact appropriately with public sector clients.Design technical solutions and advise on design patterns.Analyse technical issues and translate them into actionable designs.Identify deeper issues and innovate for collaborative solutions.Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Make and guide decisions, considering risk and complexity.Apply strategy and provide guidance based on patterns and standards.Turn business problems into technical designs.Understand trends and practices outside the immediate team.Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills.Hold a degree in numerate subjects such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics.Familiarity with tools like Sparx EA, Bizzdesign, Excel, PowerBI, System Architect, MooD.
