The role will be machining often large parts in composite and various metals on CNC Mills / machining centres. Any manual machining experience can be an advantage The ideal candidates will have experience settling & operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision parts. (any 5 axis experience will be an advantage). The CNC Miller will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring that parts are produced to exact specifications. CNC Miller Night Shift - Monday to Thursday - 4:30pm - 4:30am (48 hour week) Based in Maldon Our client is a well-established continuously growing ISO accredited Precision Engineering Company located in Heybridge, Maldon, we have been based in our current location for over 20 years, during this time we expanded into our 2nd unit and are now currently in the process of again extending the business further and are now recruiting for a CNC Miller. Our current vacancies include a position to join our busy team in the Milling section, the successful candidate must have either setting or programming CNC milling experience. Experience with 3 axis mills and Hurco controls would be beneficial. Our client would provide training to the correct candidate. AS a CNC Miller you would be expected to be able to work as part of a team and also on your own initiative producing quality, small batch work components. Hours: Monday - Thursday 4.30pm to 4.30am hrs (48 hours per week) Overtime available at 1.5X Good rates of pay - £13.00 - £18.00 p/hPPE & some workwear provided.
