Skilled Cylindrical Grinder's check list: Minimum 3 years of trades training or equivalent experience and two to four years of related machining experience with cylindrical grinding. Have experience working on sub .005mm tolerance. Work from detailed drawings, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts to identify component/manufacturing specifications. Enter data into ERP system. Must have extensive knowledge of Cylindrical Grinding processes. Able to operate multiple machines and have experience with Jones and Shipman machinery.
