Our Client, a major Insurance Brokerage, is looking to recruit another Claims Executive to work in a busy and successful department. Our Client has successfully proved that hybrid working operates well for them, their Clients and their people, so this is a role that can be performed between your home and their office. You will be working across Commercial classes and will be involved in all stages of the claims process from first notification to settlement, including some with major losses. As Claims Executive it will be your responsibility for providing exceptional customer service and relationship management for your clients. Your responsibilities as a Claims Executive will include: Manage from notification to settlement mainly Commercial Claims including Motor, Property and Casualty claimsDealing with queries from clients and InsurersNegotiating to reach the best settlement possible for your clients whilst maintaining a good relationship with Insurers and claimantsProvide accurate technical advice on policy coverage and explain the correct claims processPreparation of claims experience for Account HandlersMaintain accurate system records including amendments of reserves and reporting upwards where appropriateDevelop and maintain good relations with Insurers and keep abreast of market developments To be successful in the role of Claims Executive you will demonstrate the following: Commercial Claims Handling experience to ideally include Property ClaimsConfident telephone manner and good interpersonal and communication skillsThe ability to manage your workload with the minimum supervision

Do you have previous Marine/P&I Claims experience or are you currently working within the Maritime Industry?!Our client is looking for a Senior Claims Executive to join their already successful team. In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for handling many different P&I claims, including those that are more difficult and complex, from notification to completion within the authority levels as stipulated, thereby supporting our strategic vision of being a world leading marine insurance group, providing the highest quality of cost-effective service.The role will involve; Following the P&I Rules and maintaining files and reports, with accurate, detailed and timely information /documents.Acknowledging receipt and properly handle claims and enquiries, consulting with Members throughout.You will develop relations with Members and Brokers and to handle claims appropriately and cost effectively.Issuing security and guarantees, always within authority limits and subject to Members' approval.You will carry out file audits as required and work closely with Loss Prevention on claims, Member reviews and as the condition of entered vessels and the performance of crew requirement.Involving FD&D in a timely manner in relevant cases and also inform the Underwriting Department of any unusual risks detected. You will have; The successful individual will have previous experience handling Marine Claims, ideally P & I Claims… or previous experience working within the Maritime industry whether that be for a ship owner, operator / trader.Ideally you will have a relevant degree level qualification or equivalent (e.g. maritime studies/ law degree)Being a team player is hugely important to the business as is providing an excellent level of service to their members.The ability to build long lasting relationships to members and colleagues is vital.
